Brief Description of Duties: Scan, label, and store images of various type of collectibles into designated files and perform image clean-up for website and print purposes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Competencies: To perform the job successfully, a scanner should demonstrate/possess the following:
Qualifications: Must be a reliable, detail-oriented, and a multi-tasking person with great communication skills. Must also be able to follow directions and handle delicate collectibles with the utmost care and attention.
Education and/or Experience: A high school diploma is preferred, although not required. However, experience with computers, scanners, and Adobe Photoshop is a must.
Language Skills: Must be able to speak, read, and write standard English as the job requires constant correspondence with co-workers and supervisors in person and via email.
Computer skills: Must exhibit high-level competency working with Windows, Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop Elements, and general scanning equipment.
Reasoning Ability: Must be able to carry out simple instructions, use common sense in applicable situations, and use his/her past work experience in order to make independent and knowledgeable decisions relating to the assigned task(s).
Physical Demands: This position requires that the worker be able to lift a mail bin full of encapsulated items weighing up to twenty pounds (on occasion). He/she must also be able to spend several hours seated and in front of a computer screen.
Work Environment: This position will be located within an office environment where workers are provided a fair amount of space to perform necessary duties. The noise level is moderate to low.
