Summary: PSA/DNA Order Processing Specialist is responsible for entering data, communicating directly with the Authenticating staff, and making sure that all items are processed in an efficient effect timely manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Competencies: To perform the job successfully, the PSA Order Processor, must demonstrate the following:
Education and/or Experience: High school diploma (or equivalent) required and some college preferred. Experience within the industry is desired for this position as it requires a vast knowledge of all types of sports and non-sports players and cards.
Language Skills: Displays the ability to read and/or write instructions, correspondence, and memos with full comprehension.
Reasoning Ability: Applies common sense and understanding when carrying out instructions. Ability to make decisions based on the data collected and company policies and procedures.
Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft programs such as Excel and Word, and photo editing software such as Corel Paint Shop Pro; with an aptitude to learn and understand company software.
Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time. Additionally, employee must occasionally lift and/or move items up to 30 pounds.
Work Environment: The job is performed indoors in an office setting, but may be considered hectic due to the fast paced work environment. However, it is typically well managed.
